fb subwoofer setup
I just put a pair of 4" Polk GXR4's in the front kickpanels on my '85 GS. I also put a pair of 6½" GXR6's in the rear.
I've got a 10" GXR10 subwoofer to mount, now, and I don't know where would be best to mount it. I'd rather not mount it in a box, but if that's what it comes to, I suppose I could do that.
I just wanted to know if there was a good place to mount a 10" in an fb. Anyone got tips?

I don't know if it will fit or not, because I sold my FB years ago, but you might be able to get in underneath the glass by the tail lights... I mounted a pair of 8's in there, it was pretty cool.

Unless you want to go prefab box, you're only other option is to make a fiberglass box for the wheelwell. I was curious about the taillight location, but a 10" is physically too large to fit there... if you're patient (EXTREMELY patient) I'm working on making molds for two 8's.. one on each side of the taillights... if I ever get the time to finish it..
