So I got a new 7 and the previous owner took a spray can to the whole car. Did not even bother to remove the factor clear or anything. The car looks horrible, it's flaking. I'm fed up of, driving down the high way and getting hit with paint chips.

I started prepping the front of the car for paint. I took both fenders down to bare metal to do some bondo work.

Should I take down the whole car to baremetal,or go down to factory primer or just scuff up the spray paint and go from there?
