Electric antenna problem??
Hey guys/ gals, I have changed my factory stereo for a ony head unit the problem being now that the antenna does not go up and down anymore. There was no problem with it before. I even had a auto electrician look at it and he was saying it may be a relay in the back near the antenna?? Any ideas/ suggestions would be a help.

the antena has 2 plugs.
one is plugged in the radio. its the thick black one.
are u sure its plugged in correctly take it out and look.
the 2nd plug goes into the antena motor. remove the pannels behind the jack stand. the large black wire in there is it plugged in correctly?

2nd gen? If so you need to put in a relay, as the switching function is backwards to activate the antenna. That is, you ground the line, not apply 12V.
If it's a 3rd gen then it's pretty straightforward. Just connect the correct wire.
