Amp turn on install problems

I'm having problems after having a couple friends install my amp. It's a crappy 2 channel amp to power my rear infinity 6.5s..

things were working fine for a day and then my gauge cluster fuse kept blowing, so i had no dash lights.

everytime I put in the 30A fuse for the amp it'll blow, as soon as i put it in, it blows the fuse. right now the amp is behind the passenger seat on the floor and it's grounded to one of the bolts holding down the seat.

someone hooked up my "amp turn on to the back of the decks blue wire, the wire says antenna, is that the right wire or should it be something else like the cig lighter"?

this probably doens't make much sense because I have no clue when it comes to amp installs....i'm just posting what my friend is telling me...

Ill get you an answer in a few minutes, ill have to look at my stuff...

Ok, well is the amp grounded, is it the right size fuse? Is everything hooked up to the right spot? Un-hook everything from the amp then hook it all back up... I will get u an exact answer when a freind gets back.

No that's NOT right. There are two wires. IIRC one is blue, one is blue/white. The other one that ISN'T the antenna is what you want to hook up to.

Also, power your fronts, not your rears. Just my $.02.

Your shorting out somewhere. Your power and ground wires on your amps terminals could be touching. Recheck all the wiring to make sure.

Yeah. Your smp turn in is NOT the problem. Your main power wire to the amp is shorting some where.
