Ebay seats
All of a sudden I see loads of racing style seats on ebay real cheap. Like in the $100 range. Of course they jack you on shipping (100-160) but in total its still not that bad. approx $250 for a pair of nice looking seats. Do a search for "racing seats" and take a look at what people are selling. Any opinions on these? I notice most dont say the weight, and the ask a seller thingie is down.

IMO, some of the seats look ok, some look like ****, but they are cheap. I'd rather save a little more money and buy a bride or sparco, or better yet, save even more money, and buy a recaro. Of course, its all up to the buyer, his tastes, and how much money he wants to spend. To each his own, right.

What about comfort though, i think that the main difference...where sparco and ricaro probaly hire an ergonomicist to make their seats as user friendly as possible i doubt a company selling them for $80 a pop would give the same consideration, I wouldnt buy a seat with out sitting in it first

i bought the ebay seats (sparco knockoffs from auto-unix) for my FC because my drivers side was toast. i like the way they feel but for most people they are too thin (im 5'6" 108lbs). they are a little bit higher that stock which is perfect for me. for mounting i just had to redrill the stock seat rails.
