East Bear Aero Mirror?

Has anybody bought these?

http://66.216.67.51/product.asp?0=203&1=349&3=658

I always despise the micky mouse OEM mirrors that's on the 3rd gen, so I was surfing the store and came across only Knightsport and East bear, and I like the East Bear ones better, verys mooth looking and not too exotic with too many curves.

Anybody bought this kit before and knows how everything fits?

I don't have them but just wanted to point out if you relocate your mirrors you will have a hole in the door where the stock mirrors mount. You will have to fill the whole and repaint the doors.

I was told the kit comes with a cover patch to stick cover the OEM holes until one is ready to fill the hole and repaint the car. I plan to repaint the whole car down the road, so it doesn't worry me much.

Looks closely here:

Not bad but

That's similar to Panspeed's but normal size. The R-Spec are real nice. Caution though: You need to verify that it is for a left hand drive, otherwise the far sighted one (objects are closer than they appear)will be on the drivers side.

Now I look more closely to the Knightsports, I realized they use the existing holes to connect to the door triangle pod. The thing is I don't want anything to connect to my door! Oh well.

Yes, the Knight Sports kit is designed to be an exact replacement for the stock mirrors.

IMO the east bear acutally look worse than stock. $375mirrors+ $150 fill holes+ $300 to paint= I don't get it!

Everyone has different tastes. Some people like them, some don't. For instance, a lot of people like the East Bear lights. I'd rather sell my FD than put a pair of those on it... To each, their own...

I plunged and joined the GB on RMS at the 'other forum', price was $325 I believe.

I am not too worry about filling holes and paint because the time will come when I put on a full body kit which will lead me to repaint the whole car as well as remove my rear windshield wiper (touring model), and a bunch of little stuff here and there. The patch that comes with the East Bear kit will do for now.

I personally thought the East Bear lights looks pretty good only if you have some kind of aftermarket front bumper to match it, stock body wise looks decent, true not as glamor as RE or Cwest, but hey price is cheaper.

But yeah to each of its own, I think one of these days if someone can make a HID version out of East Bears I will buy one.
