Drool warning: FEED Carbon Fiber Hood

So I stumbled across this Southern California based manufacturer while looking for aero parts for my FD. I saw that they were developing a Feed hood so I immediately reached out to them expressing interest. Well the wait is over. I was finally able to get my paws on one. I'm very happy with the fitment. I'll be adding Quik-latch pins since this car gets tracked.

Those waiting for the Shine Auto Feed hoods finally have another option.

BTW, I don't know if it's against forum rules to mention the other manufacturer or pricing so PM me if you want to know how to get one. I'm in no way shape or form affiliated with this manufacturer. Just trying to spread the word.

Fitment looks really nice. It's ok to post the company name and price info.

I'll post pics of the underside this evening when I'm home from work.

The seller is Group A Motoring. The CF price is $750 and they also sell a Hybrid FRP version for $550.

I've read on the FB groups that the fitment of their products is not great. Neither was shine, their previous feed hood was pretty shitty.

Glad it worked out for you

I spoke with Group A Motoring a few months ago. I was told that a lot of them used to work for Shine and then started their own company.

Maybe they worked it better after the feedback, I got the scoot hood from them and was just terrible. Fitment was super off, material flimsy, and the rivnuts that bolt to the hinges were easily stripped out. Had to buy a riv gun and nuts and fit it myself. Now I have a real seibon ad9 hood and fitment is perfect with the stock hood stud type attachment. Not to mention the rain guards that were said to come with it, after 3 months they said they hadn't even molded the guards yet.. ~__~

I've driven it at 90mph. Still haven't brought it on track yet but I'm going to be adding hood pins.

As for the thickness, I don't know. You might want to message Group A Motorsports.

Late to the thread but I am impressed with the fitment on those hoods. Any idea if they plan to offer any other styles? I'd love to find a Mazdaspeed replica in FRP that fit that well.
