double-din stereo info
Cant for the life of me find a kit to install a double din cd player in my FD. Does anyone know where to get one or is this a custom-type job? Im sick of not being without music. Why dont the car companies finally realize that their stock stereos are junk?

Rotary Freak
Garfinkle has a double din in his car .He made the surround trim out of very dark (black ) plexy glass plastic .It looks to be a factory part . The radio is pushed in with the stock rubber cones on the back . The trim is a press fit to the dash and snug to the radio . That holds it in place very well . No vibes at all and it has been in there for 6 years .

Most head units are single (1) din.
It's a standard height & width that became a standard in Germany and carried over to other countries' manufacturors.
