Double DIN head unit into a FC

Can it be done? I saw a really nice new Pioneer double din head unit that can use the new XM Nav traffic, and i want to put it in my FC. Yes i now they have a single DIN with the fold out screen, but i like the cleaner look of the non fold out screen.

Has anyone put a double DIN into there FC?

What kind of mods would i need to do to the braket ect?

Thanks!

I had a double din Alpine in mine. No mods and no install kit. Just used the stock bracket.

Cool, so i should be able to fit the braket that would come with the deck into the empty slot then? And slide the deck in and call it good?

did you have to mod the bracket? I couldn't get it to work for my single din.

You might be able to obtain the brackets from mazda. Just go ask the dealer, they SHOULDN'T be that much, but you never know.
