Door speakers in a 1995

I had a hell of a time puting the door speakers in my 1995. The magnet was too big to fit, and it kept hitting the window behind the housing. I finally decided to make a trim ring to pull the speaker out a bit and that gave the magnet the room it needed. But the door panel wouldn't go on, so I got speaker with a smaller magnet, and took out the trim ring, but yet I couldn't find a place to mount the cross over, so I couldn't use components. Finally, I decided to go with coaxials with the trim ring. All in all, the install took forever, and I worked with car stereos for two years. What a pain in the ***. I just wanted to share it with you, to make it easier for you. Just remember to use a small trim ring(the one that is on the top of the factory speakers works well), find a speaker with a shallow magnet, and take your time.

This was a bitch, and I will agree that putting in the coaxial speaker was a ton easier. I did have to do quite a bit of modification to the door to fit those things in there.
