Question Door Speaker Questions

I have a question, my driver side door panel speaker doesn't work correctly. It scratches and some times cuts out. All the other speakers are fine, and I have taken it out and tried a brand new speaker. Its the exact same problem with the new speaker. How is the set up with the bose system, do I need a new amp, or is it the CD player, anyone have this problem or know the only way to fix it?

Thanks for your time

I wouuld say its in your wiring. Check where the wires go from the door to the car. Those wires crack and break all the time and give you that problem. Move the wires around while the radio is on and see if it cuts out.
just somthing to check.

The door connector will also corrode if the boot is not on correctly. You can unplug it and check.

And I kindly ask, how the HELL do you do that?

I tried and tried and tried, and couldn't remove the damn thing. There appears to be some squeeze-release tabs covered by the boot on the outside, is that what that really is?

Thanks.
