Does anyone have any suggestions on what to cover the bottom of my bumper with.I have the feed bumper and it scrapes really bad on the bottom does anyone know what i could use to protect around it.I seen other cars on this forum that had like a piece of plastic that will cover around the bumper.

GOD DAM ******* SERVER! I wrote a long thing about it and I got a 404 error... Anyways There is some kind of black tinfoil with sticky stuff on the other side and it's to go under your car to keep rocks and **** from ******* up your underbody paint and would help a little with scrapes. Carbon Fiber would be a little better for scrapes because it's more riged. Hope this helps, sorry I don't remember what the stuff is called.

You could order jabrock sheets or blocks from a race supply shop (e.g., Hoerr Racing). Works as sacrificial material, but of course since you're adding the thickness of the jabrock (or whatever you use), you'll scrape more often. Sheet aluminum or lexan may be another thing to try.

Have you considered just raising your ride height a bit?

just fyi, if you do things right when choosing wheel/tire combinations, 18"s should not raise your car a single inch...

has anyone tried trimming sheet aluminum to match the bottom profile of their front bumper/lip and riviting or screwing it into the bottom of their front end? i would imagine this would add a lot of rigidity and prevent crack-causing, paint-chipping, lip-scratching flex. if nobody does this by the time i get my front end (which wont be for a long long time), i might have to be a pioneer and try it myself!
