I have noticed that when everyone sees a huge aluminum spoiler, people immediately scream RICE! However, when everyone sees a huge carbon fiber spoiler, people absolutely love them... the whole ricer trend towards carbon fiber is utterly pathetic... like gas tank covers, etc. Also, the difference in weight between carbon fiber and aluminum is very small but the price is huge. Also, disregard the whole FWD argument... this is about fds...

I think CF is more aesthetically pleasing than alum, mostly the color and the fact that you can have curved surfaces, although I would choose to paint most parts to match the body color with the exception of a lip spoiler or rear diffuser.
But I don't think either is "ricey" on a performance car (for the record, I think that even a stock FD is a performance car, although a big wing looks better with a body kit that matches in aggressiveness).
I think either IS ricey on a stock Accord
I agree that CF accessories (door handles, wipers, etc) are stupid.

Ha trust me i've seen some "ricey" and just distasteful aftermarket wheels in my time.
