saw this on the lexus site. seems they are just wrapping with carbon fiber cloth and forgoing the resin and clear which are the really hard parts and the end result looks pretty good at least in picture form. My dash is in pretty decent shape but this might not be a bad and inexpensive solution to the peeling dash problem.

It's not true carbon fiber, its a synthetic cloth that resembles CF patterns. It is getting more and more popular these days and I've seen a few BMWs with it done. Definantly looks sharp and costs a bit less then doing true CF.

Just saw this and I LOVE IT!! I can't wait to do this...i've got a whole bunch of stuff in mind I just bought about 12'

 

sweet, please report back with pics once you get going. The lexus guys make it sound like it is very easy to work with even around curves so if you can confirm this that would be great.

 

I do stuff like this for a living pretty much. I wrap cars and just about anything and everything you can think of so this falls right in line with that. I'm wrapping my FD very soon and will do the interior with this stuff.
