digital guage cluster ??
im looking for a digital guage cluster to replace the stock tach, spedo, and all that stuff...... ive seen it before but cant find it on the web anywhere......... please help me out!!
Stack makes some (race-oriented):

http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/stack.htm
MoTeC makes some digital gauge clusters, too (race-oriented):
http://www.motec.com/home.htm
As does SPA (race-oriented):
http://www.spatechnique.com/store.as...stID=463523907
Dakota Digital makes some, too (rodder-oriented):
http://www.dakotadigital.com/
Cyberdyne might have some full dash panels, too. They do have inexpensive individual gauges if you want to put together your own dashboard.
Be prepared to pay a lot of money for the parts and spend a lot of time (or a lot of money) installing it all.
For things that change quickly (RPM, boost), analog or "bar-graph" displays are best.

the analog boost gauge may give you a quiker general idea of your boost, but I found it very difficult to see EXACTLY where I am. For example I could not tell if it was 11 psi, 12 or 13. With the digital I know exactly where the boost is when the car is fully spooled. That is very important to me. On the other hand the Analog gauge does re-act faster.
If you have a third gen with twin turbos you cant diagnosis your boost pattern with the digital gauge. the transition happens so fast the gauge doesn't respond. So in that case I'd keep your analog just for diagnosis if you need.
I love the digital gauges and will never go back. I bought Nordskog digital gauges. I bought the air temp, water temp and boost.

I dis-agree with you on this...sorta... I used to have an analog boost gauge and about a year ago I switched to all digital. Saying what is "better" is more relevant to your need.
If not where can I find one that shows boost and vaccume?
hooray for bringing up old threads! i was just wondering if anyone had any pics of a stack dash installed in an FD? i have a pretty sizeable amount of RX7 pics, and this was the only one i could dig up, i think it's from ted's cd's...
