Did the 99 spec tail mod, love it

Here is the tail lights being painted

and when I finished them, this is a bad shot with my phone, looks like something is on the tailight but it's just glare from the sun

My buddy came over to help me disassemble my lock since my key broke in it, thanks DAN! You can also see my WRX in the background which is for sale

In case anyone asks here is the WRX

I often have to wonder. If U.S. cars had round tail lights and then Japanese market cars came out with rectangular ones, would we now be seeing U.S. owners modifying their cars to have rectangular lights?

Dave

75mm for the turns 80mm for the brakes. I used this tutorial, except I used the oven method, 10 mins. on 200 degrees watching closely:

Just got them seperated with the oven method. I used 240 for 10 muinutes checking it for too much heat. Now i just have to go get some vinyl and cut out some circles, paint'em and reassemble in a couple days.

thanks for the sizes. and that link

Looking like a DC2 is undesirable.

I am having circles cut at a sign shop right now. I will have extras if anyone wants them. I am haveing 10 of each size made. So i should have 6 80mm and 8 75 mm left after mine is done.. Free of charge most likely unless they cost a grip to make.( which i doubt)

Not my cup of tea either but my mate wanted them so I did them. They were the hardest to do yet in terms of lining them up so they sit right. Rotor's are almost as hard.
