OK I know this is a crazy idea but for those of you who think they may have the answer let me know. I want to redesign my dash (NOT THE DASH COVER OR CONSOLE PIECES THE ACTUAL DASH) I have major sun damage to the foam so I was thinking I have two options. Buy a new dash from Mazda or send it somewhere (anybody ever try dashboards unlimited in SO CAL?) and have it refoamed and at the same time have it redesigned so the middle speaker hole and passenger side air bag are removed and made to look like part of the dash.

 

there are many nice looking dashes in the yards by me in fla. you try the yards yet? i am going to eventually "update" my interior by recovering with a different texture of vinyl(cuz it lasts longer than leather) i will basically be re-texturizing and refinishing all my interior...its vinyl anyways so it cant be too hard...but it will be very time consuming. the painting is just not very attractive you need to refinish it all. i wll try to give a more updated look to my vert!!
