I would think that a gloss black would reflect sun light and make it hard to see?? I know people have run into that problem when painting gauge hoods.

Hello

I had the same question , I need paint the plastics for my RX-4 dash, but its textured.

I was given this site for the info, but am been working on the engine, I havent have time to check it out.

I agree with TurbodRX-7, if painted gloss, it might looks good but the sunlight is going to bounce of it!!

that is right, don't do it with a gloss. you do not want the glare. that is why dashes are normally matt in color to absorb the light the panels can be sanded to get rid of the texture, but I would n't again it is textured to help brake up the light, good luck.
