curious about color

Anyone know what this red is called? In the article at importspeedsouth.com they claim that its the 2000 J-spec red color.

I think this came up on a different thread about the same car, and it turned out to be the same VR that the US cars have.

It looks like vintage red with maybe a diffrent clear coat? Maybe some of the overseas guys can clarify.

The guy that owns the car said it was 99 spec red, but according to Mazda's website, RX-7's have always been painted Vintage Red. Looks like VR to me.
