Are Crutchfield's FB dash blanks any good? From what I understand, they're supposed to be textured black plastic in the shape of the FB's 2.5 DIN opening. Has anyone used one or seen one up close?

 

I had one in my 84GSL-SE. It worked out good but needed some fitting, nothing a dremel can't handle, since its made for using in multiple cars. As for looks, it would be more attractive in a silver or grey finish to match the dash. The textured black is similar to the dash in my 94FD
