Covering up the lack of rear bins. Any Ideas??
Hey everyone,
I bought my rx7 with the rear bins deleted because of the kirk roll bar, and i'm hating the look in the back. It's bare (not even a carpet), and some of the side paneling is exposed which i'm guess was covered by the bins. Anyone with ideas on how to cover this up? I've never been a sound guy, but a sub enclosure might work? Or maybe just some nice carpeting? Thanks everyone.
Chris

What I have in mind for my 1st gen is to take the rear carpet out and the spare tire out, then do a fibreglass incloser/rear covering....
You could most likely do the same thing and if you want to save weight and space get to really good 6x9's(not great if you like to bump but they work)...PM me if you want some tips or just go to your local autobody shop and have a list of questions ready and the ones they dont know they will try there hardest to find out(at least they should)
all in all that's my one cent..smoked the otherone away last night.

The Roll bar is still there, and after comparing mine with another forum members, it looks like I have the rollbar with the rear bin deletion.
f_jdm. How would I go about fabbing something like that? I have zero fabbing experience, but i'd love to try a new project.
Thanks guys
Chris
