Couple Pics of new Seibon TS Style Hood

Picked up one of these from a fellow forum member.

This is a limited hood from Seibon, and it follows the RE-A AD9 (N1) hood, but it's not as deep, and the appearance is a bit more 'sharp' than that actual RE-A hood.

take a looksie

I plan to paint those cages Jet Black, may possibly paint the hood to match the car, but I am not sure at this point.

I am going to fit it this weekend, and I'll get some pics of that as well.

Looks real nice.

Its kinda hard to see, but does it have vents by the windshield like the original?

That's weird, looks like the vents are higher then the hood and mine are below the hood. I bet you could use a strut bar with it. I can't with mine. Well I did and it dented underneath it. Did they throw in the rain covers? Is that from a camera phone? If you are going to paint it, don't paint the vented sections. There's a Lux style FD on one of my mag's and it looks tight that way.

Yes, vents are not as deep so you can fit strut bars, seibon designs all their hoods that way.

If I paint it, I'll paint he vents as well, paint w/carbon fiber vents would look gay IMO.

I know they're not as deep but the vented slot are raised above the hood and I thought mine were below the hood. Mine is still in the shop supposed to be getting painted. It looks bad if you paint the vents and leave the rest carbon but if you paint the hood and leave the vents carbon it kinda looks like racing stripes. My grills are black (that white stands out). Your camera doesn't do it justice!
