Wondering if anyone has ever removed the headrests from a convertible, and if anyone knows if it is interchangeable w/ a non-convertible headrest.

I just finished installing a roll-bar in my convertible, and the large headrests rub agianst the bar. I would like to replace them with the smaller non-convertible headrests. I haven't looked very in depth at the headrests yet, but so far it doesn't seem straightforward to remove them.
