Cons of Replica Hoods
I need some advice. I am thinking about getting the Scoot replica carbon fiber hood with VIS wrapping listed on the parts for sale section for $400.
Can someone explain to me the cons of getting a replica hood? I don't want something of inferior quality that would hinder proper installation. I like taking my FD in the 140mph+ range, so I don't want any hoods popping out or flying off my car.
Also would anyone know of the weight for the Scoot replica? Is it heavier then the stock hood since it's not 100% carbon fiber?
Any advice that could be shared would be appreciated. I had an awful experience with a replica bumper literally torn off my car when I took a hard corner before so I want to be more careful when selecting a hood. Thanks.

for those who asked; check out my cardomain site, 2nd page; i just updated it.

Fitment was good overall. To make it square I am going to have to make slots in the hood hinges. Quality is great and it is as light as the OEM hood(or pretty close anyway)
