how r u guys mounting the commander beside the c.d. player near the a.c. controls. looks good but i cant figure it out. i cleaned it really good and used velcro but it wouldnt stick? whats the deal?

 

you can pick up a PFC holder for about $50 or so from any of the RX7 specialty stores. I got my PFC from RX7store. Be careful about using that velcro stuff. I used the Velcro for about 8 months, and the adhesive on the back of the velcro starts to soften when the temperaturs outside start getting warmer and becomes a sticky mess on the dash . Took about 20 minutes with rubbing alcohol for me to get all of the glue off the dash.

The adhesive on the velcro the PFC comes with is pretty bad, but they give you the lower strength adhesive because it's not as likely to stick to the dash and become a mess. I used industrial strength Velcro and it worked well when it was cold, but when the summer started to come in full force the glue would soften and just begin to spread (it gets soften, and the commander begins to droop, spreading the adhesive further and further down the dash)
