This highly subjective question is asked once a week it seems. What are truly looking for from us here, it's your car!!!

Do a search.

02 Spirit R silve (i never remember the exact name.)

I love dark silver's, and it seems like there are far more IBM's popping up.

I think the official name is silverstone metallic but Im not sure its a guess. If memory serves me correctly. I also like titanium. If you want a totally unique silver though go to Porsche and ask to buy there 40th anniversary 911 silver its the only silver like it in the world gorgeous from what the pictures make it out to be. Oh and they are only putting it on 163 911's so very very rare.

oops I ment 1,963 911's. 1963 is when the car debuted so they are making very very limited number. If you havent seen it you should your missing out.

.... for some reason that green w/ cf hood sounds a little ricey to me, but that's just me.... I would say CYM, but it wouldnt be a real CYM, it would ba a repaint in yellow..... Silvers are very nice on the 7's...... how about doodoo brown with a nice vinyl on the side from F&F

but seriously, silver is nice... there are LOTS of silver shades.... look around till you find a unique one that you like.... also there are a lot of VERY nice looking blues and metallic blues that would look good on FD's.... it's your pick, you will know when you come across the perfect color.

I wasn't completely serious about that, but it does remind me of a guy in high school with a 76? Monza with a built 350. Metallic green with a black hood, with a cutout for a tunnel ram, looked pretty bitchin' at the time.
I'm still thinking that multi step green or burnt orange semi metallic paint over a silver or gold base coat (if done right) would look sharp. I mean, how many green or orange FD's have you seen? How many Titanium and IBM have you seen?
Hell, just paint it black, it's still my favorite.

I'm doing Silverstone Silver off the S2000. Its close to Titanium, but not quite as dark. It'll be done next month, I can wait to see it and post pictures!

As a professional automotive painter may i just comment that in order to pick the colour for your car, you cant talk about it, youve gotta get a thick wad of paint chips outside in the sun light with your car and start thinking-maybe you wanna do a real bad *** flame job, or two tone - also any colour put on any vechicle can be matched, you dont have to get a porsche silver from a porsche dealer, its all the same ****, just a different pile
