Color change on an LED screen
I've got a Blitz Dual Turbo timer which when running has a green indiglo back lit display, but when the turbo timer has started it's countdown, it flashes from that back lit display to a red back lit display (also if you were to peak too high in the boost the red backlight would come on) is there a way to change the red back lit display to an always on mode? it would mesh so much better with the rest of the red lights in the interior.

if you wanna get down and dirty you could unsolder all the LEDs and swap em. I bet they're very tiny (flat for PCB mounting, probly like what cellphones use)
This way it would always be red when green, and green when red.

I have yet to pull apart the unit. I was hoping that I could avoid that (ie, putting a load, or changing the voltage across one of the leads) but what node described sounds like the best bet.
