Clarion SRV303 AMPLIFIED Sub for FD RX7s question???

Has anyone ever tried this amplified sub???

Features

120 Watt High Power Amplifier Built-in
7 Counter Drive Subwoofer
Selectable Crossover at 50/75/100/120Hz
Adjustable Input Gain
Selectable Phase
RCA Line Level Input
Speaker Level Input\
Detachable Control Panel with 16^ Extension Cable
Included
Flexible Mounting Capability

Size of unit D: 2 7/8 W: 9 1/16 L: 13

Im pretty sure wont make the car shake to the ground but it will give a nice settle bass.

Personally, that is what ive been looking for to use in my FD. I believe this unit will be small enough to put under the chair, inside the bins or even instead of the spare tire or bolt on behind the trunk divider.

HAs anyone used or tested these??? or even better if you have it in your FD, please post pics.
Thanks
Saul V

An amateur review was posted on the Miata Forum recently. Check it out.

No problem.

These "all-in-one" units sound muddy and you don't get much low extension. IMO, nothing beats a tuned sub/enclosure w/amp for real bass.

PERSONALLY. I have done a search in the forum for pictures of sub set ups in FDs and i have not found one that i really like. Most of them take a huge space in the trunk which i dont want...
I like settle stuff and that look unique and not ricey.
I was looking at this set up because it hides the subs under the seat.
Can anybody show pictures of their set up if you think its worth looking at. Thanks
