Chromalusion vs. Extreme Colors vs. ???
Anyone know if there is a difference in appearance between DuPont's Chromalusion line and BASF's Extreme Colors?
I know the technology used in the paint is the same.
My painted uses BASF. So if I get the paint code off of a Chromalusion color, theoretically he can match it with Extreme Colors, right?

I don't know about the BASF stuff, but last time I checked the DuPont was pre pack only (no mixing). Sherwin Williams has some too. By the way, I think BASF was the first to put the stuff on cars... mystic comes to mind on a '96-7(?) Mustang cobra. Chromalusion colors don't have paint codes so to speak, they have names and part #'s, but paint code is typically a car manufacturers ref. # for the paint color. The aftermarked paint manufacturers have to try to duplicate this. I don't know of any cars that have chromalusion from the factory, so no paint code. Talk to the guys at the paint store. Lots of times if you talk to the rep they will know more about other lines b/c they have to sell against them. Of course theirs will always be the best. Let me know if you have any questions.

Don,
Thanks man. After searching around a little bit I finally found a number assigned to the True Blasberry - KK700. I have no idea whether or not my painter can actually use this code though, and I found it online, so, well...you know how that goes.
Anyway, thanks for the info., and if anyone knows any painters out there, or paint sellers, I'd be pretty damn grateful if I could confirm the paint code on the True Blasberry as KK700.
