For what reason? is this for "show"?
if not, there are much better options for a harness.
the price for the takata is ridiculous and the 5th pt costs extra

exactly. i'm picky about what goes in my car and what it looks like. i don't think a simpson harness would be appropriate with my '99 spec updates and titanium grey exterior. the greddy equivalent is still around $200. if i'm gonna spend some money, i'd rather get something i'm happy with.

Raziel and spoolin,
in what part of my post needs a defensive response?

well in response to your other post, yes in a way, they are for show. anytime i go into public, it's on display, so it matters what it looks like. i'm well aware of the other options. if you have no idea where to get them cheaper, then don't post. it's not that hard. go find some other people to attempt to flame.

FYI takata prices have gone up as of last month, so id reccomend keeping your eye out for anything cheaper than $390.00

Werd - List is $450 on them - $345 is an awesome deal if they are real (doubtful though)

A good alterinitive is the Team Tech harnesses. You can choose a variety of colors as well. We use these in our project WRX and they work just as good as the Takatas we have in our EVO, but half the price.

i'm mainly looking for a good 3" cam lock harness. greddy and sparco both offer then, but they're still around $200 and are only offered in red and blue, neither of which would look right. i guess i might just bite the bullet and order the ones i found on ebay
