Arrow Cheap OTC scratch/chiop fixes

Does anyone have any experience with those store bought scratch and chip fixes like chip stick or duplicolor pens? I have a bunch of small paint chips and scratches throughout my car that i would just like to make less noticeable. You cant really see them from 6 feet unless your looking for them since the car is mercedes "brilliant silver" and the old paint was crystal white. But for my own obsessiveness i would like to hide them better.

Also would waxing prevent or reduce further minor damages?

waxing doesnt any do any sort of damage what so ever. ive only used spray cans from the dealer ship and they match up pretty well. spray a little into the cap and use a plastic toothpick to apply to the scratch. then use 2000-3000 grit sand paper and carefully level the paint. then use some polish and youll wont even notice there was a scratch there. but i dont know where you can get the exact color for your fc, so i guess try getting the ones at stores and testing them on an unoticable spot on your car.

Im just gonna remove the flakin paint from the chips and brush in the color . Rub with some polishing compound and clear it over, then wax the whole car.
