Chaser Aerodynamics

just wondered

has anyone bought anything from them?

http://www.aerokits.net

the reason im asking is because they have really cheap carbon bonnets and nice body kits i have asked them about delivery and for Front bumper+side skirts+carbon bonnet was 486 dollars(just delivery + my items) which in total gives you like 700 pounds - like nothing compare to prices here..

my only concern is i have never bought nothing from them and spending that much money with someone i know nothing about is a bit ...well i dont want to do it before i find out who i am dealing with...

A couple weeks ago, Mahjik gave a nice lil speil about aftermarket "knock-off" crap/parts and how well they fit/last ... basically to "STAY AWAY!"

c'mon, an OEM cf hood for $450 ?? I'm actually looking for a cf hood, but I NEED it to fit "properly".

depends on what you want...if you want affordable high quality replica parts try ShineAuto in the vendor section. I got their 8 Piece Burnout wide body kit and it was an awesome fit and great quality material.

Technically, that was FDNewbie:

I personally don't care if people want to buy replicas or not. In the end, most of the time they end up spending the money they saved on labor getting the parts to fit properly or the extra prep required for painting.

well, it seems like Chaser is just a vendor who distributes bodykits made by VIS, Seibon, and various other replica manufactures. So quality may vary depending on who actually made the parts

I bought a hood off of them when they were still located in California under GTP. The hood fit perfect however I do remember people who bought the same hood saying the fitment was off. My gf just got the GT300 hood for her fc but I have yet to find the time to install it so we'll see how that goes. If you want someone who carries replicas for a good price with great fitment then go with Ken at Shineauto. I have his FC2000 kit on my car and I couldn't be happier with it. Not only is it more durable then the original RE kit but it also fits much better. Hope this helps...
