I was just gonna ask this! Thanks for the help weblair24. Mine still doesn't seem to want to come off though, and I feel like I'm about to brake it. Is there some special trick that'll help?

Did you guys know that there is a screw behind it and to remove it without breaking something is to do from behind the dash?
I too pryed mine, it broke where the screw connects. No big deal the tabs will hold it in place anyway.

Thanks for the info zero. Can this screw be accessed by crawling underneath the dash? Or would it require the removal of the entire dashboard to do properly?
I need to get my center vent off, but I'd rather do it in a non-destructive manner if possible. Thanks for the help.

UPDATE
I was able to get my vent off today. For those that are interested, ZeroBanger is correct, there is a screw on the back side of the vent. In fact, there is more than one screw.
There are two screws holding the vent to a small metal bracket, and then there are two more screws holding the bracket onto the dashboard. If you remove the AC Panel (a not-so-easy task), then I'm pretty sure the lower screw would be accesible. However, I don't think it'll be possible to undo the upper screw without removing the entire dashboard.
I was able to pry mine apart. It broke at the screw points similar to the way ZeroBanger's did. However, if you are not careful, you could probably break the vent itself (I'm actually suprized that I didn't break the vent).
