CD stuck in bose head unit

My head unit is dead it just keeps spitting CDs out. I tried it one more time and this time it just kept the cd. A horrible rattling sound occures when you hit the eject button. Best way to get that out?

Also, after reading about the work necessary to use a different head unit, what are the chances that there is still a working stock unit out there?
thanks

Same thing happened to my Touring, I just used 2 butter knives as pliers cause it was a good cd. Couldn't go through the '99 summer with out blaring my Juve'.

It shouldnt be too hard to find a working unit, since most of us don't wait for the original to fail before we get an aftermarket one. Mine went with my totaled '93.
Also, dont forget to specify which tape deck you have, the Bose or regular, when ordering one.
