Sticking a new CD player into the glove compartment in a cherry 2nd generation , as to keep the dash stock with the origional radio,tape,equalizer unit ..

Is their any Issues in pulling the unit out to tap into the 3 & 4 speaker & accesorie prong terminal plugs, that are in the back of the stock unit
Would appreciate any input ... the piooneer Cd player is in better shape than my ears or I would be installing a alpine ...

I don't know how your car is set up, but I don't see the point in tapping into the other CD player. You can easily mount an aftermarket deck in most cars with a fifteen dollar adapter plate and a seven dollar wiring harness. If you want to sell it, just reinstall the old deck. But if you're set on keeping it stock, just splice the wires in. You can probably just drill some holes through the glove compartment to route the wires. Good luck.
