Carbon Fibre Hoods - Best Brand?

Been researching for a nice Carbon Fibre Hood for my 95 FD

Quite like the Seibon TS Style hood. VIS Racing also some nice options

Any other brands i should look into?

Vis fit horrible
Seibon fits ok.
Shineauto fits great
RE-A fits amazing
you have to put down real money to get proper fitment.

Thanks for the heads up

Believe it or not i live just 2 minutes drive from RE- Amamiya here in Japan. Damn expensive even if i go to the workshop direct. But i guess you have to pay when you want the best right?

Since you are local to J-land, go to the shops and check out the hoods on cars they have already fitted to. Don't buy it unless you see fitment in person and are satisfied with the fitment. You do get what you pay for.

I currently have the cf seibon ts hood on my car and it fits great, no problems. Just sold it and bought a rotary extreme n1 hood though since the vents are a bit more aggressive. For the price though, seibon is hard to beat.

I have the Seibon TS as well. Fit is very good.
But....
The hood flexes at speed and in cross winds. The hood latch is solid and the hinges are firmly attached but the center of the hood moves too much for comfort.
I would recommend that hood pins of some sort are part of the install if you go with this hood.
