Ive seen people do it at home like fiberglassing, but I dont remember where...And check a few links round here, I know there was something like right under this that would answer your question.

Replicating and fabricating things in anything, but especially carbon fiber is expensive. Just to wrap my 99 spec rear wing in carbon fiber costs around $600. It's not even going to be solid. I asked the company who makes OEM body kits for TRD and other car manufacturers how much it would cost to replicate a spoiler and the mould alone costs around $10000.

Well, you can have the Carbon Fiber film put on your interior parts.

Herblenny(I think that is the correct forum nickname) is working on this. There is a 99 brake light mod thread where he posted some pics of crbon fiber film covered parts.

It's only hard to tell the diffrence when your twenty feet away don't bother with that fake carbon ****. If it's worth doing do it right spent the extra coin you'll be glad you did after you install it.

I won't put any fake CF inside the car or anywhere that can be felt, touched or seen. Fake CF is like fake wood. If you are fake, you are fake!

If i were to take the interior pieces would they be able to make the molds and CF the outside while retaining the fibreglass backing? (or is that waht you were saying?) the interior of my car is going to be red/black )i have the red leather seats but the rest is grey, me no likey)

I'd like to go black/CF/Red, that'd be the ideal set up, I am just wondering on prices and such.

cheers'

I can make the interior pieces out of solid carbon fiber. All I need is the part you want done and I can mold it off of that. If any one is interested send me an email at:

Impulse_Performance@hotmail.com

All I need is a picture of the item, unless I have it on my car which then I can get you a price and get it rolling.

Over the weekend I covered a spare door trim piece i had laying around in real carbon fiber. Tonight I put another layer of resin/hardener over it for more of a glossy look. I am very impressed with how its turning out. I will try to post pics this week.

Mazdaspeed makes a cool carbon fiber dash kit. You'd have to go through either mazdaspeed.net or corksport.com for that tho

If your looking for parts made out of carbon fiber drop me a line. I just got in to it but I am getting better. He are some example of what I have done for my car.

custom passanger side guage pod

m2 IC duct

carbon panel to mount my n20 tank on

carbon storage/battery bins

.

custom stereo cover panel

Most of the pieces I have done are just stock parts covered in carbon fiber. Like I said I am new to this but if you have a piece you want done I could give it a try

That passenger side gauge pod is nice!!! I might want to do that after Im done with the current project... except try and angle the gauges more. Have you tried making your own pieces yet? Im just covering stock parts for now but plan on custom making panels in the near future. What do you use for your molds? Release agents?
