Carbon Fiber Interior for FD3S??
I was over a friends house, and was
reading thru some magazines..
I noticed. that there were all these
Fake carbon fiber panneling that you
can buy for all these cars. but none
for the FD3S. The paneling was pretty
simple, Just a simple carbon fiber look
with sticky underneath that you just
attach to the panels..
Does anyone know of ANY for the RX7???
If not every consider doing one as a group buy?

Ummm, mine is made out of real carbon fiber with high gloss coating and costs over 400.00. They are pre-shaped and not the easiest things to put on correctly, they have to be slightly heated (CF softens when heated). I believe there are several places you can get the carbon fiber look alike stickers (made out of paper) for like 50.00 bucks and cut them yourself (kind of like window tint).

Where did you get the Real carbon fiber panels??
On your kit.
What parts did the panelling actually cover???
From the article, they said carbon fiber cost has
been coming down. and most kits are like 250 now.
Can you tell me where you got them, or leave a LINK?
PFC are on National backorder for at least min 2 weeks.
Now I got a 1K burning a hole in my pocket.. = /

haha.....that aint real CF then....probably plastic
CF doesnt get soft when you heat it up....
most of these kits are plastic and theyre just stickers you put on top of your parts......waste of $$ if you ask me

thats not paint....
RedFD bought carbon fiber weave and has wrapped all his stock dash in it... It looks a lot better than the stick on kits. He should be finished really soon and have some pics.
