Carbon Creations OEM Hood and vert. door kit

Has anyone used the Carbon Creations CF hood or their vertical door kit?
I was wondering how good the hood and hinge kit fit, they seem like they are made well but that does not mean they are. Any feed back? I dont want a vented hood so this is one of the few places make a non vented CF hood.

Fits great if you like huge gaps. Our stock hoods are aluminum and CF won't save you any weight. The only reason people go for aftermarket hoods is for the vents to keep our engine temps down.

I have ZERO heating issues with My car. I run water injection and dont need anymore cooling, plus I dont really like how the vented hoods look. The Carbon Creations show car is a perfect example of how after market body parts should look, I just dont know if the parts they sell retail are the same quility.

Black97VR4 have You seen the Carbon Creations hoods on a car?

Joel, She is great.

I had to change the 40mm wastegate out to a 50mm. I was having huge creep in 3rd( 27 PSI) with the AVCR duty as low as it would go. I found out that the fuel system I have is only good for 27 PSI max. The car pulls very hard and smooth @ 24 PSI compared to the T-72, much nicer to drive. I pulled some sponsorship next year from the Saskatoon show.
How is Your car doing?

Excellent point. In fact, the vertical door kit on the car pictured all over their website is NOT their own kit. It's the kit from VerticalDoors.com. I know this because I've verified this w/ Noel, the owner of that car, and, the fact that the hinges on his car actually came off of my car lol (my car was used as the 2nd prototype, in which the final hinge design modifications were made).

I wouldn't be surprised in the least if CarbonCreations took apart one of the hinges on Noel's car, copied it, and put it back on lol, and are now selling their own hinge kit (which is prob why the say "CA *type*" in the product name).

Although this may seem biased, the VerticalDoors.com kit is the absolute best kit on the market today for the FD. Trust me, I've done my research, and settled on their kit only after *a lot* of research and 1st hand experience (on friends' cars). I've now had the hinges on my car for over half a year w/ NO problems or complaints. (thank God hehe)

If you're really interested in the hinges, RX7Trix sells the VerticalDoors.com hinges too... call up Brandon @ RX7Trix, tell him Ramy sent ya, and he'll take care of you.

Sorry to bump a somewhat old thread here, but I got a PM regarding a post on this thread and wanted to clear that up. The vertical door we sell are infact VerticalDoors.com brand. They are not something we "copied" and we don’t make are own. We are a licensed Distributor for vertical doors, and sell their great quality kits.
Yes I know Noel, he is a great guy, and he could tell you the same. If you have any other questions regarding our Carbon Creations/Extreme Dimensions products, feel free to PM or Email me or hit me up on AIM at "SpcyProtege", I can offer GREAT forum discounts.

Thanks,
Stephanie

Stephanie,

Thanks for clearing that up. That's why I said it would be possible, but didn't state it as fact
