car restoring tips

my car is out of commision for now and i hate seeing it just sitting there. so i wanna clean it up nice and try to make it like new. how can i make the tail lights and plastic pieces become undull...what products do u guys use? i also want to make the interior look new..is there anything u use to do that?(specificaly to make it not look worn and old) ...also anything else u guys know to clean everything up nice...

go to your local car parts store. 3M makes a product that remove oxidatoin. its in a grey bottle. i dont remember what it is called. you can also use stuff for boats to clean fiberglaass. you use this on clear plastic parts, like the front head lights, rear taillights.

any thing baclk you can get mothers back to black. works ok, but after a few weeks they dull again. works good on weather stripping though.
