I have had this problem for a while. My dash or boost guage isnt lighting up, it lights up a lil but not enough to tell how much boost Im running. My altenator is fine and battery(had those both checked) . At night I when the car is cold they are really dim. The dimer switch doesnt work. When I put the msd amps and coils on, I hooked it up wrong and the guages lit up fine but the car ran like ****. Is there a wire that I can cut and put some where else?? Anybody know the colors for the dash light wires???ohh and its a 3rd gen..

check out the dimmer switch and see if it is bad, if so replace it , do not be cheap with a nice car ,fix it .

 

Im not that cheap its just i dont want to fix and it not be the problem, I also saving for axles and lsd.. If it could stay lit up all the time I woudnt bother fixing the dimmer.
