Hi all. In anticipation of securing my very own RX-7 FD, I came across something that I want for it when I get it. However, I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Perhaps I lack the proper name for it. Can someone please tell me what this is and where can I find them? It's the cover between the two tail lights. I think it looks pretty clean.

 

i think that guy just painted it. the tail lights are normally black were all the red is. he did the same thing for the both tail lights too...

 

So you think he merely just masked off where he wanted it to remain black, and painted the rest? Hmmmm. It looked more like a piece that was fitted on top of the tail section. But I guess this would make sense seeing as I can't seem to find this piece anywhere online.

 

I agree. Looks painted to me. Re-Amemiya does make a piece that goes over the tail lights but doesn't look like that.

 

Yeah isn't that the piece that goes over the tail lights that has holes where the lights are? I don't really dig that. But what this guy did here looks pretty good I think. Although I haven't seen it up close. If it's painted, i'm kinda wondering how durable it would be as it would have sort of a "lip" where the paint stops on the lights.
