c-west undertray?

c-west undertray?
Hey guys
I searched on this, and most of the threads dealt w/ the stock undertray or the Mazdaspeed undertray...(before Mahjik flames me haha)
I was wondering if anyone had any experience w/ the C-west undertray specifically (I'm not aware of a replica of it...)
Questions...
1) Granted that the stock undertray is important for efficient cooling, is the C-west undertray any better?
2) In terms of durability, the stock one is some kind of durable plastic that can break and tear but still hold itself together...how durable is the C-west undertray? I'd think the fiberglass one would get trashed in no time... and would the carbonfiber one be any better? (i know it's stronger, but won't it just shatter if it gets thumped pretty well?
3) If anyone does have experience w/ this undertray, how are fitment issues (obviously on a c-west front bumper)?
4) Last question. In terms of aerodynamics, does the C-west undertray offer any advantage over the stock one, or are they pretty much the same?
Thanks

I'm not going to be very useful, but...
I remember talking to my friend with a CWest front end (Mild7 on the forum) about getting an underbelly for cooling purposes. I suggested we hit Home Depot to buy materials & cut it to shape. He said that the stock underbelly fits on fine because there are mounting points along the bottom.
I don't know how accurate this is, since the lazy bastard refuses to get around to it
Now that he has a blown motor, there's no point.

but im sure a rack of ppl on the forum have c west front bumpers and could take a quick peek and see if it does.
that's the way i could see it could be "required," for efficient cooling purposes, IF there was a gap between the bumper and the stock undertray, in which case you'd be loosing a lot of the cool air coming into the front air dam by having it go right back out under the car...

I bought my car with a C-West frontend and I have the stock undertray in place. It looks like the installer cut off the front edge of the undertray (the part that would bolt to the stock frontend), and there's about a 1.5 inch gap between it and the frontend lower lip. It took me well over a year to figure out that the undertray had been modified since I'd never peeked under a stock car.
Even though it's not the ideal cooling solution, it's still a good idea to keep the undertray in place. I drove around for a few days without it and noticed the car was running about 5 degrees hotter.

I def. wouldn't recommend not using an undertray at all...but wut im trying to figure is does the c west undertray offer an *advantage* over the stock one? or can you even use both, because i dont believe the c west undertray goes as far back as the stock one...
