Just looking to find out some information on the C West Kit... like :


1 - How much roughly it would be for the whole kit ?? front,rear and side skirts....

2 - material the REAL GENUINE bodykit is made out of ??

3 - how to tell the difference between the real c west kit and the replica...

If it's the original then there will be C-Westin Stamps on the underside of the parts. Not sure what the original is made out of but it's def something better than regular fiberglass. I have all original parts and they have more give then regular fiberglass.

 

C-west up until this year was just FRP - Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic. Some of the differences between the replicas and the originals is the quality control, experience in laying the fiberglass, possibly superior materials, not to mention a perfect flawless mold to work off of. There are some good replicas out there, but most I have seen are not very straight, and leave gaps all over.

C-West is available in a "PFRP" compound now, which I imagine is a polyurethane/FRP blend , like the ings+1 "hybrid aero" kits. The ad in the new Options shows a bumper twisted 90 degrees..
