Im in the midts of changing a burnt bulb in my dash and was wondering if there is a better/brighter bulb you can buy then the cheapo auto parts store ones? I know of LED but they omit a different beam pattern then normal bulbs, and im not sure if that would effect the look of the lights

194 168 bulbs.
I thought 194 is brighter. They were used for side marker lights commonly.

 

try finding some silvania 194 bulbs. OR use LED's.. they light up better than you think.
