I used VHT stuff ( http://www.pjhbrands.com/vht/breakcaliper.htm ) ...cost me CAD$8.00 per can, so that's about USD$5.00. Sprayed it into a dixie cup and used a sponge brush to apply. Did 3 coats and it's done...so simple, no disassembly required.

7-sins where did you get the paint for your calipers? They look really nice...or are they just the pep-boys stuff? Actually your whole car looks good, well what i could see of it.

For those who paint their calipers, doesnt break fluid take away the paint, so how long does it take before it starts looking ugly. whats the procedure to painting them, can you like bake the paint on so it doesnt come off?

Do you have any close-up pics of the final product?

I saw this web site too. I am shocked that they don't have a black paint.

Unless there is something wrong with your brakes, there should never be any fluid free to mess up the paint job. Except during bleeding operations.

okay... so I might be a little naive... but what's this big deal about painting the rear calipers?? is that not cool or something?

not sure what the issue would be... if you pickedup 4 new brembos... they would probably be all gold. I think that looks sweet.

Nope, you can paint the rear ones as well. There is just nothing to them so they don't look as nice as the fronts. However, even painted they look better than just the standard look.
