Bose unit removal

Here is some insight on my Bose units, They may be stuck when you would like to remove them. I had to pull center console, heat/ A/C controls, guage pod, panel under gage pod, end of the dash by the door panel panel, and drop the steering wheel to gain access. After all that it took a sharp tug to remove them. The rear mounting/centering piece (rubber) was grooved down in the brackett. I guess it being old and the vibration over the yrs. had settled it right in.

I had the same problem. All you have to do is pull really hard. You may think you are breaking something, but you aren't.
