just hadent seen these pics posted on this forum before and i thought some would like to see.

 

it is a novel idea, but i have to agree with everyone else. our cars already have a tendency to look like miatas(a miata on steroids ), why add to it. oh well to each his own. thanks for the pics.

 

You want a miata, you get a miata. Why butcher an
RX-7? BTW it sucks to hear that JMunilla. I never thought my FD looked like a miata maybe except the turn signals. Dunno, maybe I'm in denial.

 

I'm pretty sure i've ridden in the maroon one. It was more like the color of a penny in person... but the guy live right near a baseball field that looked like that in silver spring MD. Had all the chassis rigidity of a banana, but it sure looked cool.

 

i h8 the handles on the actual door on the yellow 7. Yuck! i like the concept tho.

 

I think the second one looks good with the small spoiler and the body kit.

 

an agressive bodykit would defnatly wave all notions about it being a miata...and although I like the popups more, sleek headlights would do it justice

The Maroon one reminds me of the Jaguar exotic car for some reason.

I don't think the chassis is nearly strong enough without a top on it --IMO.

ok heres the rundown on those cars:
the maroon one and the silver one are actual REAL chop tops. However the yellow one IS a photochop and is not real. If you look now the handle is blurred to prove this and i have seen other work done by the same guy who did that pic on other chop fds. ill post some later

 

oh my god i've never seen verted FD bofore and yeah i think it looks like Mx-5 but better...but i sort of like it

I hate to say this but I kind of like the way it looks. Having said that I hate convertables beyound belief and wold never own one.

 

I'd like to see one with a 99 front on it...maybe that'd look better.

 

 

how can someone hate a convertable? That is just wierd...
