Bose System will not power on

cd / tape player will not turn on now... I can still see the clock but it does not power on any more, I have the bose system in my car...

I was trying to undo some wires in the back when I was pulling the cd player out and I heard some noises in the speakers, when ever I moved the wires, then suddenly it just powered off.... is there a fuse I can check to see if one may have blown???

thanks,

im really pissed i have no music to listen to now, driving is such a different experience in the quiet

thanks...

why wont the unit power on??? btw, some of the wires in the back are exposed and were touching eachother

If I saw exposed wires touching each other, I'd check *all* of the fuses. Something probably fried. In my wiring diagram I see the "cigar" fuse and "room" fuse are the most likely culprits.

Aside from that, usually head units have a fuse soldered directly on the board somewhere. I wouldn't look there just yet though -- only if you determine the head unit itself is faulty first.

I don't have a bose system myself, but maybe someone who does can help you further.
