i've got a 94 fd, with a Bose that has static and screches, only in the FM mode. tape and cd sound fine. it seems that the problem would be in the head unit, but i would like to hear from someone with more experience with this system. thanks

thanks mahjic, i still would like to know what the problem is. as i may try to buy a used one.

 

could be a lot of things from a disconnected antenna to a bad ground to unit that doesnt tune in stations correctly. Electrical problems are tough to track down. Stereo Bob is a great resource.

ive got one in perfect working order.. just pulled it out last week... you want the bose tape deck peice right... i have the cd player too, but that wasent working when i removed it... pm me if you want um!
